Nicole Calautti is a senior in the College of Human Ecology majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society. She was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, an urban and extremely diverse suburb of New York City. On campus, Nicole is a University Representative and member of the Management Team at the Cornell Annual Fund as well as a Human Ecology Ambassador. She is a research assistant in the Early Childhood Cognition Lab and studies physiological, cognitive, and environmental predictors of children’s play behavior. A pre-med student interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics, Nicole is also a member of the first class of the Weill-Ithaca Network, a mentorship program that connects pre-med undergraduates with students and faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College. She also sits on the Executive Board of Cornell for St. Jude, a group that raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In her free time, Nicole enjoys doing yoga, playing with children, going to concerts, keeping up with celebrity news, and reading paperbacks on the beach. Above all, she loves chatting with others. She is particularly enthusiastic about discussing One Direction, Mindy Kaling, and the latest episodes of The Vampire Diaries or Teen Wolf. However, she is a true conversationalist who is happy to talk about anything!
