Max Pensky is Professor of Philosophy at Binghamton University, and co-directs Binghamton's Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention. He's been teaching at Binghamton since 1990, and has been a visitor at the University of East Anglia, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Oxford University, Javeriana University in Bogota, and Cornell University. His research is mostly in modern and contemporary political philosophy, international law, and post-conflict justice.  He and his wife Katherine Anderson live in Ithaca, NY.
