Caitlin Baumhart

Caitlin Baumhart is a second-year graduate student pursuing master’s degrees in both global development and public health with a focus on maternal health. As an undergraduate she transferred to Cornell as a junior and lived in Becker. She is excited to be returning as a GRF! 

After graduating in 2013, she joined the Peace Corps and lived in Tanzania for four years. During the first two years she taught Chemistry and Biology at a secondary school where she also organized a variety of community projects. During the second two years she worked with Health Improvement Project Zanzibar where she coordinated various maternal health projects. 
Caitlin is from Chicago and has a large family. She enjoys traveling, running, and learning about other places and cultures.
