Having moved around a lot as a kid, Kasey loves the idea of creating a second home wherever she goes. This year, it’s Alice Cook House.

Kasey is a senior double majoring as a College Scholar in Developmental Circus Arts and with Biology in Neurobiology and Behavior. Currently training in silks and trapeze, she believes life is more fun upside down and hopes to bring the unlimited benefits of circus to disabled children through her College Scholar project. On her Neuro-Nerd side, Kasey finds all-things-brain fascinating and hopes to pursue it further as a doctor. What little time she is right side up is spent working on her honors thesis in the Warden Lab, where she studies the neural circuits implicated in depression, reward and motivation.

More than anything, Kasey hates the cold and loves meeting new people. Hearing about other people’s passions in life makes her the happiest, so come share your life story with her while watching the sun set over West.
